Cozy interior, atmosphere and very good food

I've liked the ambience for 50 years and the service is relaxed and attentive. I ate fried potatoes with three fried eggs for € 7, quite atypical, and was full and satisfied. Very easily. Cappuccino tastes good.

Very tasty food and 1A ice cream at reasonable prices. We loved it. The pizza and the potato casserole tasted very good. We have also had enough. Finally, a scoop of ice cream in the waffle, wonderful. The ball was so big, it's much less and more expensive elsewhere. The ice cream was packed in a crispy waffle, which is otherwise only available in larger portions. That gave a little tip. We have not experienced it better. For us a nice end to the vacation on the Weser.

At first it sounds meaner than it is, but I got exactly what I expected.Many products are probably bought here (as an example, rösti with the salmon or the ice cream, which tasted very much like artificial aromas, I suspect it is partly made from syrup). But that's not so bad. You can get a good meal in a nice cozy place for a reasonable price.

On a stormy rainy day, we went through the streets of Holzminden in search of a cozy refuge. We found what we were looking for with the Eis-Café Lücke. A very friendly waitress praised the cake and so a selection was made quickly. Everything was great: cake, coffee, service. The story could actually end there, but things turned out differently. A few days later I got a call from my dentist. My wallet would have been found in the Eis-Café Lücke. My call there confirmed that. Based on my dentist's bonus booklet, which was in my wallet, the resourceful crew of the café had found me. Already the day after next I had a parcel in the mailbox with a purse and its contents. I think that's just great and anything but for granted. Thank you very much! And in terms of cuisine, the ice cream parlor is a recommendation anyway!

A very nice place. Cozy old atmosphere with very nice staff. We were there for breakfast. Gladly again!

Waitress was a bit of a challenge. Recently changed owner. Not only cafe any more; more of a bistro. Still, offers best homemade cake in Holzminden. Indoor and outdoor seating. Cash only. Nice setting.

This cozy cafe in the center of Holzminden is always the best place to have breakfast or a coffee. It is very lovingly decorated and the service is friendly. Here you get delicious cakes, pies and pastries always fresh.
